The new year has begun, and we are starting off the 2026 ecstatic dance season strong by welcoming Mixwell to Alegria. 🥳
Based in the sacred volcanic highlands of Guatemala's Lake Atitlan, Mixwell blends sounds from around the globe, sharing decades of passionate digging and ethnomusicology - with special focus on Prehispanic, Afrocentric, Oriental and tropical / Caribbean flavors.
A staple in the global festival and ecstatic dance scene, Mixwell comes to us fresh off his recent world tour spanning 21 countries to make his Central Valley Ecstatic Dance debut!
We hope you'll come light up the dance floor with us this next Monday! 🔥
